Integrating Sphere Meets Light Engine; SpectralLED® RS-7-2-IS500-2X Uniform Tunable LED Light Source from Gamma Scientific

RS-7-2-IS500-2X

June 19, 2020 – San Diego, CA – Gamma Scientific has expanded their family of SpectralLED® Tunable LED Light Sources for camera and image sensor calibration. Specifically, the SpectralLED RS-7-2-IS500-2X combines two LED light source engines together with a half meter sphere that includes a 150 mm output port (other sphere and port sizes are available, as well). The result is a calibration light source for large area detectors and large field of view cameras that delivers significantly higher brightness and approximately an order of magnitude higher radiometric stability (<0.1%) and wavelength accuracy (0.25 nm) than any competitive product.

Easily adaptable for automated test systems and production line integration, the product provides integrated optical feedback and temperature control to ensure rock-solid stability and consistent results. With wavelength options from 380 – 1000 nm, the instrument can quickly simulate any CIE Illuminant or Macbeth ™ / X-Rite ™ Color patch, or the user can import their own spectra. The product line features all solid-state design for rapid start-up, repeatable performance and long operating lifetime.
