2D SPECTRAL IMAGING COLORIMETERS FOR DISPLAY TECHNOLOGIES
The VDU™ Series combines the strengths of a 2D CCD image sensor with a high-performance spectroradiometer (optional) and CIE XYZ filters.
UNWAVERING PRECISION & CONSISTENCY
Essential for quality assurance in display technology, the VDU™ Series characterizes display products by measuring their color, luminance, and uniformity, ensuring top-tier performance across various applications. Integrating an RGB camera with our state-of-the-art spectroradiometer delivers both accuracy and flexibility for laboratory measurements and the speed and durability of demanding production environments.
- User-programmable regions of interest
- Measures luminance, CIE chromaticity, CCT, dominant and peak wavelength, spectral power distribution (SPD), and uniformity
- Optional integrated spectroradiometer significantly improving accuracy, repeatability, and unit-to-unit consistency
- NIST traceable, original system calibration is performed in our world-class ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory by NVLAP
VDU-12
The VDU 12 is a next-generation family of 2D spectral imaging colorimeters that includes a 2D CCD image sensor, CIE matching filters, and a high-performance spectroradiometer (optional) for performance optimization. This results in a rapid and highly accurate system for display measurements, including luminance, correlated color temperature (CCT), CIE chromaticity, and uniformity.
VDU-12-CF
The VDU 12 CF is a next-generation family of 2D spectral imaging colorimeters that includes a 2D CCD image sensor, CIE matching filters, and a high-performance spectroradiometer (optional) for optimization of the performance, which is used to minimize the uncertainty due to spectral mismatch for DUT with high saturated colors. This results in a rapid and highly accurate system for display measurements, covering luminance, CIE chromaticity (x, y, u’, v’), correlated color temperature (CCT), dominant and peak wavelength, spectral power distribution, and uniformity.
VDU-65-CF
The VDU 65 CF is a next-generation family of 2D spectral imaging colorimeters that includes a 2D CCD image sensor, CIE matching filters, and a high-performance spectroradiometer (optional) for optimization of the CCD, which are used to minimize uncertainty due to spectral mismatch for DUT with highly saturated colors. This results in a rapid and highly accurate system for display measurements, including luminance, CIE chromaticity (XYZ value, x, y, u’, v’), correlated color temperature (CCT), dominant wavelength, peak wavelength, spectral power distribution, and uniformity.
VDU-65-CF-macro
The VDU 65 CF Macro is a next-generation family of 2D spectral imaging colorimeters that includes a 65M 2D CCD image sensor, CIE matching filters, and a high-performance spectroradiometer (optional) for acting as a live reference, which are used to minimize the uncertainty due to spectral mismatch for DUT with highly saturated colors. This results in a rapid and highly accurate system for display measurements, covering luminance, correlated color temperature (CCT), CIE chromaticity (XYZ value, x, y, u’, v’), dominant wavelength, peak wavelength, spectral power distribution, and uniformity.
