1st Surface Reflectance Testing for Flat, Curved, and Coated Optical Surfaces
The family of GS-191 Reflectance Testers deliver comprehensive spectral and colorimetric reflectance testing for flat and curved display technologies, architectural glass, and automotive glass — from small samples to large-format parts. By isolating specular reflectance with highly sensitive, state-of-the-art spectrometers, the GS-191 family delivers industry-leading accuracy, repeatability, and throughput, even on thin glass samples.
Paired with Gamma Scientific’s reflectance measurement software, the GS-191 family scales from handheld to semi-automatic and fully automatic configurations, matching every stage from R&D through production, with faster testing, streamlined processes, and reduced time to market.
CONFIGURATIONS
The GS-191 family is modular and available in multiple configurations to match your sample geometry, angle of incidence, and automation needs, from handheld measurement to full production integration:
GS-191 1st Surface Anti-Reflective (AR) Tester
Measures first surface reflectance on flat or curved AR-coated surfaces, using a built-in Auto Apex finder and autofocus for automated integration into production lines and sample handlers. Gamma Scientific’s high-sensitivity spectrometer delivers results in as little as two seconds at 0.1 R%, with high signal-to-noise even down to 0.01% R%.
GS-191 SEMI-AUTO REFLECTANCE MEASUREMENT SOLUTIONS
Captures complete spectral and colorimetric properties at 10°–45° angle of incidence simultaneously, without requiring second-surface masking — testing substrates as thin as 400 µm with scan times as fast as 500ms per point.
GS-191 REFLECTANCE MEASUREMENT HEADS
Available in fixed angle-of-incidence configurations from 10° to 75°, or as a handheld unit with variable angle of incidence, for targeted first surface or total specular reflection testing on glass, plastic, metal, or polished substrates.
CUSTOM PRODUCTION CONFIGURATIONS
Custom inline or offline configurations for fast, non-contact 1st surface AR coating measurement, including multi-point testers for diffuse or specular surfaces and simultaneous multi-sample testing.
